Well, since I played Leonato on stage in Much Ado About Nothing,  I wanted to leverage all the memorizing I did so I made a little movie. Got our babysitter Charlotte Buck to sit in on Hero, and Christopher Lukas played The Reverend. Mr. Lukas is a noted expert on shooting, acting, and editing films thus Chris was thrilled when the experience turned into a master class on all three arts. One thing I learned: filmmaking is hard! But fun. I certainly still see problems with this piece, but I also see things I like, so I think I’ll release it to the waiting world. I rather doubt this was what William Shakespeare had in mind when he wrote this, but everything can benefit from a little updating now and then, can’t it?

Vivian Jastrzebski. Mark that name, this girl’s going to be huge, though probably under a different name, I mean, come on. We worked with her on a “How To” video but she was so awesome, so fabulously talented, we couldn’t resist having a little fun with her. So check out our latest ad...

Free Candy

I’ve taken photos for CST for years, and my kids have acted in at least a dozen productions. I was so struck by this production of The Scottish Play that I decided to make a movie of it. That of course was insanely over-ambitious, so I scaled down to just a minute of my favorite part. Ladies and Gentlemen, The Witches!

Witches of Macbeth

When I got my new Canon 5Dii I, like most everyone, was excited to shoot some video with the same axe I used everyday for photos. Coincidentally, I was shooting a book cover and the publisher suggested I shoot some video footage for a book trailer. I learned many things shooting this, as I seem to with each of my video projects.
